Market Folly: Very helpful information, please bring it to us more often, i would rate your research style up there with Barrons. ReplyHedge Fund Tracking: Blue Ridge Capital (John Griffin) [view article]
SA automatically pulls the articles off of your website and puts the links in. That isn't a conscious choice by a blogger. ReplyHedge Fund Tracking: Blue Ridge Capital (John Griffin) [view article]
Like I said on your other post- I see past the post itself- and what you are doing is actually a great marketing tool. To other bloggers out there- notice that his posts include several symbols- and therefore will show up on SA under each and every symbol- exponentially generating traffic (ad revenue) to his blog. The posts themselves have little value as he is just compiling data that is readily available. Brilliant strategy market folly- I bet you are making a lot of money for doing virtually nothing. Very bright. Reply
5 Impressive Stocks in This Difficult Market [view article]
Are you kidding? This is an article? Shouldn't there be some useful information here?Well, here's an article of my own. My five best performing stocks this year are Boston Beer Company (SAM), Wellcare Group (WCG), Vertex Pharmaceuticals (VRTX), Verenium (VRNM) and Ceradyne(CRDN). I bought them all at recent lows and they've done very well for me. Probably that means you should buy them and they'll do well for you too. Right? Reply

I hold common stock in four of your listed five, and they've been stalwarts in my portfolio during 2008 (knock-on-wood...). Reply5 Impressive Stocks in This Difficult Market [view article]
That is a beautiful portfolio. Your buy points seem a bit "toppy" to me, (hence the moniker buyitcheap) but 10 years from now, what difference will it make, really. Great selection and diversification. One to put on your radar: BMR - biomedical realty reit. ReplyGlobal Investing Roundup: 8/15/08 [view article]

Wonder what would have happened to the price of gas if there had been no stimulus package? Guess inflation has reared its head again. Did the stimulus package have a cost? ReplyJacome

Wasn't there talk awhile back about a retail bubble? If not methinks this may be it, even if it qualifies as a microbubble. ReplyRetail Sales Are Weak, But No Towel Being Thrown In [view article]
Bill ~ Didn't the economic stimulas checks help out in May-July, lets wait until the August-Sept numbers are in. Without them last couple months your numbers may have been a LOT weaker.Retail is the trade right now, pity the last guy buying before the turn. Reply
